THERE WAS A STANDOUT MOMENT THAT REALLY SHIFTED THINGS FOR ME.

Standing in my kitchen, I saw my 3 year old daughter crumpled up on the floor, crying like I had been just the night before. And it hit me HARD!

She was watching me. Subtly taking in who I was being. What I was tolerating. Mirroring my emotions, my worries, my beliefs and my actions. This sweet little human who shouldn’t have a care in the world, was watching her mommy fall apart and she was falling too. Begging for someone to help her feel better. Searching for that person or circumstance that could save her.

It was then and there that I decided no more. No more settling. No more shrinking. No more playing victim to my circumstances.

THE CHOICE

I believe in life that we’re gifted moments where a choice demands to be made.

Where we either choose to stay stuck, abandoning our dreams and dismissing our potential.

In this moment with my daughter, it became undeniable that no one, but me, was going to make this better.

Because no one, but me, was capable of creating the life that I envisioned for us.

OR WE STRAIGHT UP REFUSE TO LET THIS BE OUR STANDARD.

WE GET UP, GET HOT, AND WE GET TO WORK DISMANTLING EVERY VERSION OF OURSELVES THAT LEARNED TO SETTLE. THAT TAMED US DOWN. THAT FORGOT WHAT WE’RE ACTUALLY CAPABLE OF.

YOU ARE NOT A DAMSEL IN DISTRESS.

YOU ARE A POWERFUL, BADASS WOMAN WITH A BIG HEART AND BIGGER DREAMS.

AND YOU ARE FULLY CAPABLE OF MAKING THE CHOICE AND WORKING YOUR MAGIC TO MANIFEST THOSE DREAMS INTO REALITY.‍ ‍
