BUT JUST SIX MONTHS EARLIER, I HESITATED TO BOOK THE TRIP.
I had a huge list of logical reasons to bail, all of which pointed to it just being too “irresponsible” of a thing to do as the owner of the business and I almost talked myself out of it.

I wasn’t refreshing my email every 15 minutes.
I wasn’t fielding phone calls left and right.
I wasn’t responding to urgent messages in the middle of the night because I didn’t build a business to feel trapped and I don’t think you meant to either.
